About these terms

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site. We may update them from time to time, and the date above shows when they last changed.

About us

This is the website of Sam's Army's Mission 1 Life, a family-run, not-for-profit organisation based in South Yorkshire, working towards registered charity status, founded in memory of Sam Haycock.

Water-safety information

We share water-safety guidance in good faith to help people stay safe. It is general awareness information, not professional, medical or emergency advice, and it cannot cover every situation. In an emergency, always call 999. Please don't rely on this website as your only source of safety information.

Donations and fundraising

Donations are voluntary and gratefully received. When online giving is available, payments will be handled securely by our donation platform. If you'd like to fundraise in our name, please get in touch first so we can support you and make sure everything is done properly. If you think you've made a mistake with a donation, contact us and we'll do our best to help.

Our content

The text, images, logo, the name "Sam's Army's Mission 1 Life", and images of Sam belong to us or are used with permission. Please don't reuse them without asking. You are very welcome to share links to our pages and to help spread our water-safety message.

Links to other websites

We link to news coverage, partners and other useful sites. We are not responsible for the content of websites we don't control.

Accuracy

We work hard to keep this site accurate and up to date, but we can't guarantee it is always complete or error-free.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
